Opportunity Always Knocks

Though still a newbie by many standards, I’ve been around this game long enough to see how many huge movers there are every single day in the stock market.
These 1-day movers not only make a 4% annual fixed-income yield look ridiculous.. they illustrate how much movement is available to trade in my line of work. Wins minus losses is what matters.
Anytime I think I’ve “missed” a trade.. or cringe at having to cut a trade short as it went against me.. Examining these lists helps remind that opportunities are endless as long a trader has the capital to take their shots. Just manage risk.
Although I rarely end up owning a stock on this top gainers list from the day before.. this “big winners are everywhere” perspective helps my confidence to take my lumps on bad trades and get back to hunting down good stocks. Because the best test of a “good” stock is whether or not it’s going up..
That means buying pullbacks in the strong ones.. and letting the test play out.
