Communism

Lawmakers’ talk of taxing “excess” oil profits is maddening. What is “excess”? Where does this stop? How about the homebuilders, who’ve had record profits recently? Or how about some special extra taxes on me when I have a good month financially ? Oil is not a monopolistic industry, and that’s the only kind of behavior we’re supposed to regulate.

It’s not just Dems.. Bill Frist just said he’d support such a measure. He wants hearings with Big Oil executives so Senators can wave Mutombo-style finger wags at these villains.

Jeez, talk about pandering to a public wanting a quick fix to our own self-inflicted problems.

Truly frightening, pitiful, and communist as hell.

this jibber jabber unfortunately makes investments in the Oil sector a risky proposition, subject to random sharp moves based on idle banter from Washington lawdogs.

technical analysis cannot predict what nonsense these idiots will spout next.

ok, i’m calm again.
