Costs Count the Same as Trading Losses

They both represent greenbacks you will never see again.
Interactive Brokers, where I maintain my direct access trading account, just announced a cut in commission prices from 1 penny per share to 1/2 a penny per share.
Sweet.
Some months this year I’ve racked up $300 in commissions, so I’m obviously pleased to see brokerage fees continue their decade-long freefall.
These days, there’s no rationale for anyone making their own investment decisions to pay over $10-12 per trade.
I can’t sleep at the moment, that’s why I’m posting this great news at such a ridiculous hour.
