Yeehaw

During last week’s holiday-shortened trading, my friend Karl and I were out in Jackson Hole, WY visiting my bro, the one & only Randall Brooks Woodford. Minimal time was dedicated to the markets, though I noticed that the Refinery Construction stocks are still rockin’. Our complete 9-day X-games style itinerary will be posted soon, either here or on RBW’s blog. Here’s a little nugget for ya…

Last Thursday morning, four adventurous souls awoke at 5:00 AM to climb Teewinot Mountain, one of the bigger peaks in the Teton range. This would certainly be the greatest challenge of the week. Myself, Randy, Karl, and Doug made the 11-hour trek (6 going up, 5 slogging it down) on our own, no paid guides involved.

It was rough, don’t get me wrong. But the pleasure was easily worth the pain.. the priceless views & feelings that the summit provided are truly indescribable.. not to mention the profound sense of accomplishment.

Mad servings of pizza & microbrews (of the 100% Guilt-less variety, no doubt) flowed like wine at Dornan’s after we completed the descent.

Dat’s me..
